A LITTLE MORE ABOUT OUR SPREADS - HOW TO SERVE

Due to our commitment to unprocessed ingredients,
Delessa is temperature sensitive.
Separation may occur. Here are some tips on how to store and serve

Concordia’s should be stored in the refrigerator. Shake well before refrigerating
Damara’s should be stored room temperature, 71-76 F. If separation has occurred, warm then shake and store at 71-76 F
Cordelia’s should be stored room temperature, 71-76 F. If separation has occurred, warm then shake and store at 71-76 F
***If you aren’t used to using products that contain coconut, here are some more detailed tips.

Concordia’s (purple label) should be stored in the refrigerator once you receive your shipment.
If separation has occurred, simply shake before refrigerating.

Damara’s or Cordelia’s should not be stored in the refrigerator – they will get too hard.
*If separation occurs simply warm and shake to blend, then let cool to 71-76ºF.
*Coconut oil separation may appear white until warmed.

To Warm, do NOT cook or use a microwave. Best practice, if possible, is to find a warm spot (best@ 71-76ºF) for storage. Our favored warming technique is to set the jar by a sunny window, let it melt, shake it, then cool it down.
If that isn’t an option try setting the oven to 170º and pre-heat for 1-2 minutes (use a timer!), then turn the oven off before putting jars inside. It will be nice and warm but not too hot. Let jars sit inside for 10-30 minutes depending on how cold the chocolate is. For more urgent needs, hold the jar under running hot water, or place jar in a bowl of hot water not exceeding about 150ºF.

To Cool Damara’s or Cordelia’s, If the weather is very hot, shake the jar well, then refrigerate for apx 30 minutes or put in the freezer for only 5-10 minutes but Always Use A TIMER  (there’s one on your phone!) to jump start the cooling process and prevent separation. The outside of the jar contents usually begin to harden first, then the temperature evens out. Remove from the fridge.

MORE INGREDIENTS AND DETAILS:

Damara’s Dark Chocolate Abundance

  • Raw organic coconut butter, organic virgin coconut oil, and cocoa powder (non-alkalyzed, Fair Trade), pure monkfruit extract powder (no sugar alcohols).
  • This blend is for those who love rich dark chocolate or who may want to avoid the cashews and almonds of our other blends.
  • This dark chocolate blend is just slightly sweet using pure monkfruit extract (Our products that use pure monkfruit are never blended with any other sweeteners or sugar alcohols – we use just the pure extract powder).
  • Store at room temperature; Best spreadability @ apx 71-75ºF

Cordelia’s Bittersweet Chocolate Celebration

  • Raw organic coconut butter, raw organic cashew butter, organic virgin coconut oil, and cocoa powder (non-alkalyzed, Fair Trade).
  • This spread is for those who perhaps don’t want monkfruit or those who just want a serious, unmitigated chocolate taste.
  • This blend has a complex, earthy bittersweet chocolate taste – We do not add monkfruit to this blend – the slight sweetness comes from the coconut and cashew.
  • Store at room temperature; Best spreadability @ apx 71-75ºF

Concordia’s Sweet Chocolate Profusion (Spreadable straight from the fridge)

  • Raw organic almond butter, organic virgin coconut oil, cocoa powder (non-alkalyzed, Fair Trade), pure monkfruit extract powder (no sugar alcohols).
  • This blend may satisfy those who prefer a sweeter chocolate or who are transitioning from sweeter stuff. It also provides variety to those who enjoy the dark chocolate.
  • This is a sweeter blend with an almond butter base. Like the Damara’s blend, it uses pure monkfruit extract for sweetness.
  • This blend is crafted to have its best spreadability straight out of the fridge.
